Ultra Hog Heaven at Spring Hill MCRD park and campground is built on 36 acres of gently rolling terrain that has plenty of trees and a seasonal creek. Sites are placed to afford guests a pleasant and comfortable experience during their stay. There are security gates which limit access to the park and a large pond with a fountain for campers visual enjoyment. Many of the camping and Ultra Hog Hut spaces are nestled among trees with unobstructed views. The relatively secluded (not remote!) location helps enhance a quiet, slower paced, atmosphere. The owner strived to maintain the quiet, natural, picturesque setting of the park. Please read the park rules. |

The main drive and RV roadways are paved with the RV loop roadway being used for motorcycle parking during events. There are four RV spaces with one of them being permanently occupied by the park manager's RV and one being permanently occupied by the park's 26 foot travel trailer available for rental. The other two RV spaces are available for short term rental, only, primarily for those bringing "toy haulers" to the park. The RV spaces are paved and the electric/water pedestals are installed. The RV septic system has been reworked with new tanks and lines installed. Phase I site lighting fixtures are installed. The concrete driveway entrance, gates and fencing are installed. All of the motorcycle roadways have unique construction. The 5' wide roadways include a series of interlocking, polyethylene paving units with individual cells infilled and covered with decomposed granite. This gives the motorcycle roadways a surface comparable to a hardpack golf cart, or jogging, pathway. Water drains through this paving system to the ground below and usually provides better traction than wet concrete or asphalt. Virtually no dust is generated from this system since the decomposed granite infill is comprised mostly of pebbles, chips and slivers of very hard rock. The only other vehicular traffic allowed on the motorcycle roadways will be the park support ATV's and carts. The party pavillion has a new canopy complete with Ultra Hog Heaven logo graphics. The grounds are manicured and maintained. Fresh paint and repairs on existing buildings is underway. Site water and electrical lines are still being installed. Final construction of the Phase I Ultra Hog Hut cabins is progressing. |
