Take Highway 105 and travel west for approximately 40 miles through Montgomery, Dobbin and Stoneham to Highway 6 southeast of Navasota. Turn right (north) on Highway 6. Travel north on Highway 6 east of College Station and Bryan for about 48 miles to Hearne. Continue traveling for approximately 2 miles northwest on Highway 6 to the US 79/Highway 6 split. Keep right onto Highway 6. Travel northwest on Highway 6 for approximately 17 miles through Calvert and Hammond. Approximately 1.2 miles north of Hammond, keep right onto Highway 14. Travel north on Highway 14 for approximately 43 miles through Bremond, Kosse and Groesbeck to Highway 171 in Mexia. Turn left (north) on Highway 171 and travel for approximately 5 miles to Tehuacana. Turn right onto Main Street (Highway 442) in Tehuacana. Turn left (west) onto 3rd Street in Tehuacana. Turn right (north) onto FM638 west of Tehuacana. Travel north on FM638 for approximately 8.7 miles to FM642. Turn left (west) and continue on FM638 toward Rodney. At FM1838, turn right (north) and continue on FM638 for approximately 4.7 miles to FM709. Turn left (west) and continue on combined FM638/709 for approximately 4.2 miles to Dawson. Before arriving in downtown Dawson, turn right (north) onto N. Gilmer Avenue to the flashing red light at Highway 31. Continue across Highway 31 on FM709N. The entrance to Ultra Hog Heaven is 2.75 miles from the flashing light on Highway 31 on the north (left) side of FM709N
A more limited service route of approximately 185 miles; 3 hours 45 minutes (that includes a 34 mile diversion around Lake Limestone which adds 18 miles overall.) or a total of approximately 167 miles; 3 hours 25 minutes without taking the diversion. Be sure your bike is road worthy, has full fuel and consider bringing a snack. Plan any necessary fuel stops and bathroom breaks in advance of taking this route.
From Conroe, go north on Highway 75 and travel for approximately 8.4 miles to FM1097 in Willis. Turn left (west) onto FM1097 and travel 35.7 miles over Lake Conroe to FM149 north of Montgomery. Turn right (north) onto FM149 and travel north and then west on FM149 for approximately 10.6 miles to FM2562 south southeast of Roans Prairie. Turn right (north) onto FM2562 and travel north on FM2562 for approximately 4.6 miles to Hwy. 30 east of Roans Prairie. Turn left (west) onto Hwy. 30 and travel west on Hwy. 30 for approximately 0.6 miles to Hwy. 90 in Roans Prairie. Turn right (north) onto Hwy. 90 and travel north on Hwy. 90 for approximately 5.3 miles to FM39 north of Singleton. Turn left (northwest) onto FM39 and travel northwest on FM39 for approximately 52.0 miles through Iola, Cross, North Zulch, George, Normangee (fuel/bathroom stop?), Flynn, Margie and Robbins to Hwy. 79 southwest of Jewitt.
At this point, consider taking Hwy. 79 northeast through Jewitt for approximately 8.8 miles to Buffalo on I-45 for any necessary fuel, bathroom or food stops. Return to FM39 on Hwy. 79 southwest of Jewitt and turn right (northwest) on FM39.
Continue on FM39 for approximately 1.0 mile to Ephesus Road (County Road 344) east of Newby. At this point decide whether to continue traveling northwest on FM39 for approximately 15.1 miles to Personville or take the following 33.8 mile diversion around Lake Limestone to Personville:
Turn left (southwest) on Ephesus Road (County Road 344) and travel approximately 0.9 miles southwest to FM1512 south of Newby. Turn right (north northwest) on FM1512 and travel approximately 1.3 miles north northwest to Newby. Turn left (southwest) on FM1469 in Newby and travel approximately 6.3 miles southwest on FM1469 to FM1146. Cross over FM1146 (FM1469 becomes Brazos River Authority Road). Continue traveling approximately 7.3 miles southwest on Brazos River Authority Road to FM937. Turn right (north) on FM937 and travel approximately 7.0 miles north through Oletha to FM3371 west of Old Union. Turn right (east) on FM3371 and travel northeast on FM3371 through Old Union for approximately 11.0 miles to Personville.
In Personville, continue traveling northwest on FM39 for approximately 16.0 miles to Hwy. 14 south of Mexia. Turn right (north) on Hwy. 14 and travel approximately 1.0 miles north to Highway 171 in Mexia. Turn left (north) on Highway 171 and travel for approximately 5.0 miles to Tehuacana. Turn right onto Main Street (Highway 442) in Tehuacana. Turn left (west) onto 3rd Street in Tehuacana. Turn right (north) onto FM638 west of Tehuacana. Travel north on FM638 for approximately 8.7 miles to FM642. Turn left (west) and continue on FM638 toward Rodney. At FM1838, turn right (north) and continue on FM638 for approximately 4.7 miles to FM709. Turn left (west) and continue on combined FM638/709 for approximately 4.2 miles to Dawson. Before arriving in downtown Dawson, turn right (north) onto N. Gilmer Avenue to the flashing red light at Highway 31. Continue across Highway 31 on FM709N.
